Account preferences
Settings
Manage what PlaneKey shows you and how telemetry rides along with
your session. Most settings here are client-side toggles —
they live in your browser, not the auth bridge. Server-side
preferences (per-account, cross-device) land when
/api/accounts/preferences wires up.
Sign in to see your settings
These preferences are tied to your PlaneKey account so they travel with you.
Log in or create an account →AI providers Desktop only
Bring your own provider key. The Tauri shell stores it in
the OS keychain via tauri-plugin-store; the bridge never
sees it. The chat panel's Your AI channel
calls ai_proxy_completion which decrypts the
key at request time, forwards to your chosen upstream,
and returns the response with provenance hashes.
Scope leaving blank applies to all models for that provider.
Set claude-fable-5 as scope to bind the key to a
specific model.
Editable text overlay Signed-in only
Click any heading, paragraph, or label on a PlaneKey page to suggest a fix. Your edits show only to you — they never push to other users. Our team sees the aggregate signal and decides whether to actually edit the source. Turn this off if you'd rather not see the dashed edit cues.
Chat panel — Your AI / Docs / Direct
Site-wide floating chat in the bottom-right corner. Three built-in channels: talk to your AI (via the upstream key you set in the desktop client), search PlaneKey docs locally, and send WBT burrow messages to other accounts. Turn off to hide the FAB entirely.
Telemetry — anonymous usage signals
We collect bucketed page-load counts (cohort floor 50, rounded to 50 per the privacy-first canon). No identifiers, no behavioral profiles. Turn off to suppress entirely. Settings page itself never reports.
Reset my edits
Clears every text overlay you've applied across all PlaneKey pages on this browser. The aggregated signals already sent to the bridge are unaffected — they're immutable once delivered.
Sign-up banner for new visitors
When you're signed out, PlaneKey shows a slim sign-up
banner in place of the editable surface. This setting
applies to your account — but is only meaningful when
you're signed out elsewhere. Currently global; per-account
preferences land when /api/accounts/preferences
wires.
